  • Late check-out (after 12:00 PM and before 6:30 PM) may result in a fee.

Please note that late checkouts are UPON REQUEST only, since other clients may be waiting.

*TAXES AND FEES
The hirer understands that government accommodation tax may not be included in the price and is subject to payment upon arrival. The tax is 30.00 MAD Per person per night for government tourism tax and 11.00 MAD per person per night for TPT. 

*CANCELLATION POLICY 
Non-refundable rates are debited 100%. No-shows are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the stay. The villas are subject to a 100% cancellation fee 30 days prior to arrival. Suites, unless otherwise specified by individual room conditions, are subject to a 100% cancellation fee 21 days prior to arrival. The client waives any right to cancellation refunds within the specified period, including same-day arrivals. The hotel may in good faith choose to refund clients should they recuperate the lost revenue. NOTE: FLEXIBLE RATES are only cancellable 21 days prior to arrival. 

*CLIENTS RESPONSIBILITY
The hirer is responsible for taking all reasonable care of the property and its contents. At the end of the hire period, the property and its contents, including all equipment, furniture, etc., must be left clean and undamaged. The Hirer shall ensure that no party member engages in any activity in or around the villa and swimming pool that may cause damage, offense to the neighbors, pollution to the water, or damage to the structure or filtration equipment, this includes unacceptable anti-social behavior.

*DAMAGE TO THE HOTEL AND ITS CONTENTS
Except in the case of normal wear and tear, the hirer will be responsible for any damage to the villa or its contents that has occurred due to negligence, willful damage, or irresponsible behavior on the part of those occupying the hotel or their guests. Such damage must be immediately reported to Mirage d’Atlas or its representative. The hirer must pay for the cost of the replacement or damage to Mirage d’Atlas.

*RIGHTS OF ACCESS
Mirage d’Atlas, their representatives, or their sub-contractors have the right of access to the villa at any time with due regard to the convenience of the hirer for inspection of the property and to carry out any essential or routine repair or maintenance work.

*RESPONSIBILITIES
Neither Mirage d’Atlas nor its representatives can be held responsible for any circumstances beyond their control including, but not limited to, mechanical breakdown, illness, swimming pool maintenance, emptying of the swimming pool for necessary maintenance, or failure of any public service supply. The hirer responsible for booking undertakes that no person will suffer anything to be done which would endanger the policy of the villa owner's insurers in respect of the villa and its contents which might make the same void or voidable.

*INJURY AND DAMAGE
Mirage d’Atlas does not have any responsibility to compensate you for any personal injury, illness, death, loss, or damage of whatever nature suffered by you or any member of your party during the booking period or thereafter. This includes the use of hotel facilities such as the gym. The Hirer agrees that they are solely responsible for their safety. 

*COMPLAINTS
In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about Mirage d’Atlas or its contents whilst on holiday, it must be reported immediately to the hotel manager or the owners who will take reasonable steps to resolve the matter on behalf and in liaison with the owner of the property. Neither Mirage d’Atlas nor its representatives shall be liable for any complaint submitted after the completion of the hire period. Subjective opinions are not considered a complaint, for example complaining that the beds are not comfortable. If a hirer chooses to leave a rental over a subjective issue they must take responsibility for their decision as no refund will be considered in this situation.

*BUILDING WORK
In the event of building works taking place by local authorities, private developers, or neighbors, it is important to note that we are not responsible for such work, are unable to stop such work from taking place, or are unable to control the level of noise, neither can we be responsible for any building works that take place during a holiday.

*FORCE MAJEURE
We regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by ‘force Majeure’. In these Terms and Conditions of Hire, ‘Force Majeure’ means any event the supplier of the service(s) in question could not foresee or avoid, even with due care. Such events may include but are not limited to, war, the threat of war, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, strikes or other industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire, acts of God, terrorist activities, quarantine, epidemics, weather conditions, government action or other events outside our control.

*LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any disputes arising from the hire of the property will be resolved between the hirer and the owner. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Morocco to which both parties expressly submit.

*INSURANCE
The hotel hire cost does not include any personal insurance coverage of any kind. It is a condition of booking that travel insurance is taken out against cancellation and it is strongly recommended that personal accident and medical insurance is also taken out. By signing this rental agreement the hirer acknowledges that it is their responsibility to take out travel insurance, should any circumstances beyond the control of the Mirage d’Atlas spoil the hirer's holiday.

*SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The cook can prepare different meals for vegetarian or vegan guests if need be.

*SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR MOROCCO
Drug trade or use is severely punished by Moroccan law and can lead to prison. In case of non-compliance with these laws, the owner reserves the right to immediately expel any offender before the end of his stay without compensation. The same conditions and restrictions apply to prostitution. Parents will be responsible for the safety of children in general. Please note that the pools are not equipped with gates or security systems, these facilities are not compulsory in Morocco. Morrocan couples are required by law to present marriage certificates and will be denied entry if they cannot provide them; by arriving without this, they waive the right to any refunds and are compelled to pay for their stay.

*GROUP STAYS
Group stays of 4+ rooms must be pre-authorized by the property management. Failure to declare this combined with the failure to respond to an inquiry will lead to a cancellation of your reservation. For large group reservations, a 50% non-refundable downpayment is required.
